Meet Lauren

RMT, NMT, NICU-MT

Lauren is a Registered Music Therapist and trained Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Music Therapist with Advanced Training in Infant Mental Health and the Newborn Behavioural observation (NBO). She has previously worked in acute paediatrics at The Royal Children’s Hospital across a range of specialty areas, including the NICU and Infant program, as well as in community and private settings.

​

In 2023, Lauren founded LA Therapy, offering clinical services, consultancy, and program development, focussed on early intervention, infant neurodevelopment and perinatal and infant mental health. She is passionate about supporting infants, children, and families who have experienced extended or frequent hospital admissions, as well as individuals navigating the journey to parenthood.

Additionally, Lauren is collaborating with NICUs to advance music therapy programs in Australia.​
 

Lauren is registered with The Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA).
